School Playground to be demolished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the Lycee Francais de San Francisco, there is a possibility that the school playground is to be destroyed if the space of the bars is needed for other things. It is constituted of Gymnastics bars, a climbing net, monkey bars, a metal round beam and copos (wooden chips). Everything is being taken away. The school board has decided to turn their new space in a lounge to eat lunch. This affects many children who spend all their free time at school, on the bars. What will they do instead? That, nobody knows. Since they spend all their time playing on the bars, they will probably just stay inside and do an activity of indoors. They would probably not do anything outside because most of those kids are not big fans of basketball and there is no place else to do Gymnastics. It will impact a lot on their behavior since they will probably be mad about this situation. They might want to know why it all happened? The reason for that is that a kid was playing on the monkey bars and she fell and banged her head against the metal bars. She was then taken to the hospital, and she suffered a concussion, a loss of memory where the kid had a blackout and she broke her nose. It is a very concerning, but instead of taking away the playground just for one accident, they should make more rules or have somebody looking to make sure nothing is dangerous. Then some kids complained that if they put rules on what you could do and not do on the bars, that it wasn’t fun anymore. So we cannot satisfy anyone which is why this problem is out of control. Even though it may be unsafe, taking the bars away is not the answer. It will only make things worse. One of the students pointed out that some of the kids wanted to be gymnasts or have something to do with gymnastics and did not have time to take lessons for the moment, so at school was the only time they could do it. So destroying the bars would inflict a lot on their future. It may seem dumb for some of you out there since they are young, but a famous gymnast Simone Biles started gymnastics at 6 years old and is now Gold Medal winner from the Olympics. The kid who went to the hospital quoted to us: “I love gymnastics, and when I got hurt I was a little scared to restart gymnastics, but in the end I faced my fear and started again. If I hadn’t done it, I would have regretted EVERY SINGLE Day of my life. And I would have never reached the level that I am at now.”

This proves to the people out there who are for closing the school playground that demolishing it would ruin lives of kids.

We would like to Thank You readers for paying close attention to this article and shouting out to your friends or whoever to read this or tell them about it. Tell them all the reasons why NOT To close the School Playground.

Thank You Again.
